This pivotal moment changed the course of my life. I became an avid reader and writer.

After 12 years of deep diving into literature and filling notebooks with my thoughts instead of paying attention in class, I went to college. When I had to manage my time, energy, and space, I became overwhelmed and was diagnosed with an anxiety disorder.

I learned mindfulness techniques, and how to build habits, routines, and systems. But my frustration grew when every time I’d get something in place, I’d grow bored and stop using it.

There was no magic in the mundane.

It would be another 20 years before I discovered I had ADHD. My coping mechanism of writing was my constant. The worlds and characters in my head were as vivid as my real life, if not more.

After writing five books, I’ve found my voice as a writer of stories that heal the soul. My years of studying philosophy, religion, mythology, and history permeate my core belief that stories shape and heal our lives.
